Cellulite is a medical condition
Cellulite or orange peel effect as it is commonly known is a medical condition that is caused by minor damages to the capillary system in the fat layers. Because of this damage the blood circulation in the surrounding areas starts slowing down. This results in the fat deposit cut off from the main circulation system leading to development of static blood in that area. This effect starts spreading to the nearby areas forming a thick layer of fat known as cellulite.
Going by the above description it is quite obvious that if circulation in the affected area is regularized, cellulite can be melted away. What better way to improve blood circulation than exercising a lot? It is easier said than done. In fact most people believe that any exercise will be effective in removing cellulite which is not true.
Following are a few exercises that work exactly on the cellulite affected area.
* Aerobics: Aerobic exercises are the best exercise for quick and permanent cellulite removal. However in order to use this form of exercise for cellulite removal, it needs to be customized as per individual’s needs and body type. Special stress should be laid on areas where cellulite is present.
* Cardiovascular exercise: Jogging, walking briskly and of course swimming are some of the best cellulite exercises. Not only are these effective in cellulite removal but also for overall fitness.
* Yoga: Certain yogic postures like lying flat on stomach and then lift both the legs one by one and remaining in that posture of as long as you can, are very helpful in melting cellulite from thighs and buttocks.
With all the above mentioned exercises, regularity should be maintained. Unless you are motivated enough to maintain regularity in your exercise routine for at least a month, cellulite will not go away. In certain cases it is hormonal balance that causes cellulite therefore hormonal treatment should be tried under expert medical guidance.
